Paying homage to Mercedes-Benz Grand Prix racecars of the 1930s, which had to be stripped of their white paint to meet weight restrictions, leaving their bare aluminum skins exposed, this 2001 SL Silver Arrow edition boasts exclusive silver metallic paint and special 18-inch, two-piece wheels.

Polished aluminum trim decorates the exterior and interior of the car.
