This is a rare and very classy L6 635CSi BMW coupe. It has a finely tuned 3.5 Liter V6 engine. It was introduced to the USA in 1987 ONLY. It was dubbed the 635CSi Highline. It is very LOADED! The interior is very plush and refined. IT has rear AC with a Cooler cabinet!
The L6 badge on what is essentially a 635CSi with everything (plus extra leather) denotes BMW's short-lived, U.S.-only attempt at a luxury complement to the exotic M6.
While the M6 touted extra power, burly road manners, and a limited-slip differential, the L6 was a fully loaded showcase of comfort, coming standard with a 4-speed automatic transmission and sumptuous hides covering every surface of the interior, including the headliner. At $49,500, it cost more than a similarly equipped 7-series and was second only to the M6 on BMW's price list.
The 635CSi won The European Touring Car Championships three times, in '81, '82, 86!
The air conditioning is ice cold. It even has rear Air Conditioning. The leather seats are very deep and comfortable with a nice support. They are sporty seats. The Stereo works great! It has all power adjustable seats....that adjust many ways.
Everything works well.
This is a car that will run for a long time!
The paint is origional and there is little to no wear on the outside.
