More Details: In less than three years, the Gallardo has become among the best selling Lambos ever. The company showed this dazzling Spyder concept at Geneva just last year, and the production version made its first world appearance at Frankfurt last September. Modified so significantly that it is considered an all new model by Lamborghini. This one is sitting weather proofed in Honolulu.

The seller added a CD based navigation system and rear view camera. Cassiopea style titanium colored wheels and Pirelli P Zero winter tires are another add on. He included full color Lamborghini logos on all wheel center caps. Also 8 way adjustable heated seats with power adjustment of side bolsters, backrest inclination and lumbar support. An upgraded 6 CD changer with a one disc CD player was added.

This deal also includes the optional sport suspension, engine air filters and suede steering wheel. The additional Bi Color Sportive includes two tone leather Sport interior in blue and Tan. The added onboard computer displays average speed, fuel consumption, instant fuel consumption, trip distance and trip time. You will also recieve a Custom Car Cover Set made of anti static, non waterproof cloth in black color with Lamborghini logo.

The convertible top mechanism can tuck the roof away in 20 seconds. The top folds up, essentially, on top of the engine and is covered by a carbon fiber hood. The process automatically raises and lowers the rear glass as the cloth top goes through its motions.

The Gallardo is built on an aluminum space frame chassis and it can sprint from zero to 100 mph in 6 seconds. Getting sunburnt has never seemed so attractive as in this convertible! Lamborghini spent the last year figuring out how to persuade a fabric roof to disappear under the engine cover in less than 18 seconds and it happens like magic.

The mid mounted V10 has been enhanced to produce 512 horsepower, and the six speed auto clutch manual gearbox carries revised gear ratio spacing for even better acceleration, as if that was an issue. The Gallardo packs a mid mounted, aluminum engine. Power, which was upped slightly in 2006, tops out at 520 hp at 8,000 rpm and 376 pound feet of torque at 4,500. This V10 features an 18 degree offset crankshaft for even firing, continuously variable valve timing, dry sump oiling and a variable length induction system. The 5.0 liter V10 engine is positioned amidship.

Power is fed through a six speed manual transmission and an all wheel drive system. Lamborghini claims a 0 to 62 mph time of 4 seconds and a top speed of 196 mph.

Suspension front and rear is a double wishbone design, and all that V10 power is fed to the pavement through an all wheel drive system that can vary torque front to rear as necessary. This 2007 Lambo has viscous center differential rear limited slip differential. Four wheel independent suspension with front and rear stabilizer bar.

Beefy Brembo brakes handle the stopping duties, with eight piston calipers clamping things down up front. The chassis is a mix of alloy stampings, extruded elements and castings. Except for the doors, which are made of steel and swing out conventionally instead of upward scissor style, the exterior is composed of thermoplastic panels.

Though hyperbole is always dangerous, there is no doubt that the Gallardo is Lamborghinis best car ever. It does not quite have the outrageousness of the Murcielago, but in all other respects it is a better overall package. The Audi influence is obvious inside the Gallardo, with plenty of properly fitting leather and soft touch materials.

This exotic Lamborghini Gallardo is a coupe convertible in a league all its own. For this 2006 coupe, Standard equipment includes 19 inch alloy wheels, 235 35R19 tires in front and 295 30R19 in the rear, HID headlights, full power accessories and an Audi sourced CD audio system. The sport suspension option and navigation system and a rear backup camera were added to this Lamborghini.

At full throttle, the V10 produces a sweet soundtrack truly befitting a Lamborghini, no Dodge Viper UPS truck exhaust note here. With 520 hp on tap, the Gallardo is capable of warp speed from any gear. This years suspension updates help the car to be a more willing handling partner and the shorter gearing makes one more inclined to rev the V10 to its absolute limit. And thanks to that AWD system, the Gallardo is indeed the car you will want when the roads are slick and unfamiliar.

This Gallardo Spyder has several key structural differences from the coupe, including A pillar and side sill reinforcement, in order to shore up torsional rigidity and stand up to rollovers. This Spyder is further guarded by an automatic rollover safety system, with protective pop up bars that are integrated with the airbag system.

For more safety this Lamborghini has front and rear ventilated disc brakes, 4 wheel ABS, traction control stability control, dual front airbags with head protection chambers, side mounted airbags, front head airbags with two front headrests, electronic brake force distribution. Antilock brakes, traction control and stability control are standard equipment. The head protecting side curtain airbags are standard.

Of course this is the top Spyder for comfort and Convenience Features. This one has Sport front seats with two tone Italian leather upholstery. 8 way power driver seat. An inspired Spyder! This is a convertible with speed to fill your heart with joy at the start of every straight, and brakes to knock the air from your lungs at the straight aways end. There is no reluctance to turn into a curve, only an exact and immediate response to your command, issued through the delightful suede rimmed steering wheel. You can corner it properly, on a balanced throttle, progressively feeding in the power from the apex and letting the gentle under steer tug you to the rumble strip at the exit or you can turn off the electronics, yank the wheel, boot the throttle and power slide it from here to torched tire heaven. All this, from a car with all wheel drive and an engine behind the driver.

It is, of course, just a fraction slower than the coupe which also receives all the mechanical upgrades for 2007, but few will complain when it will still streak to 62 mph in 4.3 seconds and on to 196 mph or just 192 mph if you try it with the roof down. But where it trumps even the aluminum roofed Gallardo is in its noise. It is motor music to the ear!
